Andrea Kiewel is stuck in Tel Aviv – and has to fear for her life in the Israeli war. She gets in touch with a message that Hans Sigl shares on the net.
Tel Aviv – Today at noon, ZDF aired an episode of the "TV Garden". Andrea Kiewel (58) welcomed the guests to a special edition from Hamburg. Although the broadcast had a live character, it was recorded. The presenter is no longer in Germany, but in her adopted home of Tel Aviv. War is raging in Israel – and Andrea Kiewel is directly affected by it. Hans Sigl (54) shares a frightening message from his colleague on the Internet.

Andrea Kiewel likes to keep her private life out of the public eye – but it is known that she has been taken again for a few years. Through her partner, the TV celebrity has a close connection to Israel and an apartment in Tel Aviv. Due to current events, she is stuck in a shelter in her apartment – without her partner. "I'm a soldier's girlfriend. He's going to war. To defend this country, where his family was able to escape from the Nazis," she wrote in a live ticker in the Jüdische Allgemeine.

Because Andrea Kiewel does not run a social media channel herself, her colleague and "Mountain Doctor" star Hans Sigl is now addressing the public with a message. On his Instagram profile, he shares a photo of the "Fernsehgarten" presenter and quotes her. "When everything around you is falling apart, when Hamas terrorists are murdering children, women, men, torturing, raping, slaughtering, humiliating, kidnapping, then you have to get very close together. Otherwise, you can't bear the pain," says Andrea Kiewel.

In the post, which Hans Sigl shares with fans, Andrea Kiewel emphasizes that she is directly affected by the terrible events. "Tel Aviv writes letters to the soldiers, reservists and volunteers who risk their lives so that our children, the people of Israel, can live in peace. I'm right in the middle of it. And move very close together."
Hans Sigl is also affected by Kiwi's words. He doesn't leave the message uncommented and adds some hashtags to it. "No war" and "peace" he writes, clearly speaking out against the acts of violence in the Israeli war.
